Clan Sigils

I've been successfully attending my writer's critique groups and crafting the right narrative for Edith Victoria. I've also been learning a lot of antiquated language from the Victorian-Edwardian eras! 

The world of Edith Victoria is divided into two major houses: the House of Cerna, and the House of Ley. Cerna's descendants were made through five major bloodlines (consorts): Aria, Sabine, Victoria, Rayna, and Natalia. Therefore, each descendant hails from a major clan in which their powers manifest.

The sigil for clan Victoria was decided to be:

The story here is that without Victoria's cooperation, the Empire would not have existed. Victoria was a fierce warrior and competent leader. It was through her that Cerna found his weapon for world domination. "He who rules the heart of the west, rules the world."

And the sigil for clan Rayna was decided to be:

Rayna's people of the south were craftsmen, historians, and scholars. They lived in exotic lands that survived on trade for foodstuffs. Cerna, after obtaining the lands of the west, choked the south of supplies. Rayna and her people offered a tribute, a rare white lion, along with a missive proposing a political marriage with Cerna.
